Question: How do I, a job seeker, take part in this Online Job Fair?

Mr. Monis Rahman: It’s very simple! Just point your browser to www.rozee.pk/jobfair and enter the online event from the convenience of your home. You will first have to register at this URL and later, when the Job Fair starts, you will be able to enter the Job Fair through this same URL.

The Virtual Job Fair is a seven day event with dozens of companies and hundreds of exciting jobs. Make sure that you have uploaded your latest CV on ROZEE.PK and that your profile is also up-to-date on ROZEE. At the time of Job Fair, you will be able to submit your CV online to positions that excite you. You will also be able to learn more about the company and its opportunities through a direct one to one chat with its recruiting manager during normal business hours.

Question: Will there be a physical job fair, like the ones ROZEE.PK has held in previous years, in addition to this Virtual Job Fair?

Mr. Monis Rahman: The Virtual Job Fair to be held between May 11 and May 17, 2009 is the first online job fair in Pakistan’s history. ROZEE.PK pioneered physical job fairs in Pakistan and connected 130,000 job seekers with 300 employers through one day events. The Virtual Job Fair aims to build upon that experience by making the matching and interactive information exchange opportunity more efficient and more convenient. With over 18 million people in Pakistan on the Internet, we feel this is the year of the Internet for Pakistan.
